Rugbystore supports Doddie’s Grand Tour

My Name’5 Doddie ambassador Rob Wainwright is once again taking on a monumental challenge raise funds and awareness for Motor Neuron Disease, as he aims to travel from Dublin to Edinburgh for the foundation set up by his former teammate, the late Doddie Weir.

Rob’s daughter Natasha Wainwright also has her own challenge, taking a group of runners from the Isle of Coll to complete a 150-mile run from Stranraer to Edinburgh. The group, with a mixed experience in running, will be looking to cover the distance in three and a half days, starting on the 5th of February with the aim to arrive in Edinburgh by the 8th.
As for the former Scotland captain and his team, they aim to cover the 800-mile trip between the 4th and 8th of February in the lead up to the clash between Scotland and Ireland at Murrayfield. The journey starts in from Dublin, then crosses the Irish Sea to Scotland from Belfast to do a tour of Scotland before finishing in Edinburgh.
In support of the My Name’5 Doddie foundation, Rugbystore have been proud to sponsor Tasha and her group with customised kit to get them through their tough journey to the capital.
