How To Shop
Rugbystore brings you the most comprehensive range of rugby products at the best prices. We have made shopping on our website as easy as possible.
Navigating the Website
The main navigation bar along the top of the page is split into broad topics to give you a good starting point for your shopping experience. Clicking on one of these main navigation items will take you to a ‘landing page’ for that section; from there you will get more options to take you further into the site, on to the product you are looking for.
Some of the top level navigation option will display a drop down menu when you hover over them. These provide a shortcut link further into the section – click on these to get directly to the product.
Searching
The search field sits at the top of the page; just type in what you are looking for, hit the arrows (or press enter) to see a list of products that fit your search term.
Refine your products using Filters
When you get further into the site, a set of filters will appear on the left hand side under the heading ‘Refine by‘. These filter options help you narrow down the products on the page so you can see only the stuff you are interested in.
Simply click in the check box of the filter you want to apply. The filter is applied automatically and the list of products shown on the right hand side of the page refreshes to show only the items that fit your filters.
To remove a filter you have applied, you can either: un-check the filter box, hit the ‘clear‘ button next to the filter type or, to clear all the filter, hit the ‘Clear All‘ option at the top of the filter box.
Adding product to your Basket
When you find a product you want to order, it’s a simple process to add it to your basket:
- Select the size you want from the ‘Size‘ drop-down menu
- Select the number of that item you want to order from the ‘Quantity‘ drop-down menu
- Click the ‘Add to Basket‘ button
- A message will appear to confirm the item has been successfully added to your basket
- You now have the option to ‘Continue Shopping‘ on the rugbystore site, or hit ‘Go To Basket‘ to start the checkout process.
Checkout Process
We have made the checkout process as convenient as possible for the way you like to shop online. We have given you three simple options:
Express Checkout
You don’t need to worry about setting up an account or remembering passwords. You enter all your details and we send you the kit – simple!
Register a new Account
If you register your account details with us, we’ll remember all the repetitive stuff like billing and delivery addresses – you simply log in to your account with your email address and password, then pick the options you want to use for your new order. You can add new delivery addresses and edit your details easily.
For your added security, we do not store any credit card details for any of our customers – it is much safer that way.
Existing Customers
If you’ve ordered from us before and Registered your account (even if it was on the old rugbystore website), we already have your details stored. You just log in, select the options you want and we send you the kit.

Making A Payment
We take the security of your personal data and your payment cards very seriously indeed. To make sure there is no risk to you, we do not store payment details in any form.
We accept all major credit and debit cards for payment.
Credit card fraud is taken very seriously and we closely monitor payments for any signs of fraudulent activity. Any cases may be reported to the authorities and you may be liable for prosecution.
All payments are taken in pound sterling. If your credit or debit card company does not operate in Pound Sterling, your card issuer will convert this transaction into your own currency on your statement.
3D Secure
Our payment process uses the 3D Secure protocols. This provides an extra level of security for online credit and debit card transactions.
These protocols are administered by the two main Card Providers – Visa and MasterCard – who have their own branding for the 3D Secure process; Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.
Depending on the type of card you have, and the card issuing bank, you may be asked to enter an additional password for your payment card (or to set a password, if you have not already done so). This process is integrated into our own payment process and full instructions are given if this is required.
You can read more about these by clicking on the links below.

Confirmation of Your Payment
Payment is taken full when you click the Confirm button on the payment page on the website.
If there is a problem with the payment, an error message will explain the nature of the problem after you click the Confirm button.
If your payment is successful, a confirmation message will be displayed on screen showing your order as successful.
A confirmation email will also be sent to the account holders email address. This is an automatic email and does not indicate acceptance of your order. Your order is only accepted when it has been dispatched.
PCI Compliance
Our company, rugbystore.co.uk, is fully PCI Compliant.
The PCI-DSS [Payment Card Industry, Data Security Standard] is an information security standard that controls the way Card Holder information is handled by companies that process card based payments, like we do.
The Standard imposes strict controls on the way all Card Holder data is managed on our website and in our office buildings. this data includes not just the actual card number on your credit/debit card, but also all your personal information; name, address, etc.
This PCI Compliance will not affect your shopping in any way, but you can rest assured that we take the security of your information very seriously, and we’ve taken every measure to make this website a very safe and secure way to shop online.

The banners and ads you will see are based on information we hold about you, or your previous use of our website. This includes information from the products you may have browsed on our website, the content you have engaged with or the advertising you may have previously responded to.
